So I got a friend request and on moble I could only confirm or hide. On moble when I went to the profile it was a confirm button. So I went on the main site with firefox went to the person's profile, and it said respond to friend request. It was a button I want to ignore it but I'm worried the respond button would confirm it.

Just leave the button alone, and you will have ignored request.
